You have been a special player for the Cubs for years. As one half of Bryzzo, you have been a part of so many special memories: The 2015 NLDS win over the Cardinals. The 2016 Championship season. 2017's NLCS team. 471 wins over 5 years. The final out. Many other moments over that time.
Your individual accomplishments have been superb. The rookie of the year award. The MVP. 3 all star appearances. 138 home runs in the regular season. 6 in the post season. The time you starred on Bae vs. Ballplayer:

You've always had an engaging personality. Listening to you speak is like listening to a good old boy scout. You are down to earth, and a great guy to root for. Your incoming child is going to have a great father, I'm sure. (AssMatt: I'm a little surprised you didn't ask him to be your daddy. Oh. Right. That's Why.)
Kris, I don't know what the future holds for you and the Cubs. I hope you can come back, and get back to what you were your first three seasons. I hope there are many more memories ahead. No matter what happens, I'm thankful for what happened, and I'll always cherish the memories of Cubs teams with KB #17. And now I'll have my towel to wrap you around me, forever.
