I'm going to stretch the rules of "Love Letters need to be about someone Cubs related." I wish Cassidy McMahon was a Cubs fan. We could use someone like her in our corner. Cassidy is a superfan of the Atlanta Braves. She knows the team inside and out. But what's really cool is the effort she puts into her amazing YouTube channel. She releases many new videos per week, and has nearly 3,500 subscribers between her Twitter account and YouTube page. She is a baseball machine with fantastic perspective.
Dear Cassidy,
You are an awesome contributor to the game of baseball. You've got endless knowledge about the game, and do a great job of sharing it with the rest of us. Your videos are fun and insightful.
I'm especially impressed with your continued stream of videos despite the lack of baseball being played. You haven't slowed down with coverage and analysis. I can't lie, this shutdown and money battle has dampened my spirits when it comes to passion for the game. But not you. You are cruising along. Even if you have to dig deep for content and come up with things like Top 5 Bat Flips, you are finding ways to make it happen.
Since we fired up Cubs DNA last fall, we've dabbled in video. It's tough to get on screen in front of your peers and share whats on your mind. You've got to have the right temperament, skill, and personality. You've got all of the above. I envy your abilities.
Congrats on building such a big fanbase just in a little while. Keep it up!!
