Yes I am a die hard Cubs fan. Yes I hate the St. Louis Cardinals. But let me tell you why I will be rooting for them in the NLCS this year.
1. They love to have fun. Just look at these images.
2. They will do anything to win.
3. They aren't hypocrites and they respect the game.
Game 1 of the NLDS saw Ronald Acuña Jr. homer in the 9th inning with his team trailing 7-3, including bat flip.
After the game, Carlos Martínez had this to say: "I wanted him to respect the game and respect me as a veteran player."
Martínez is a five year vet. Respect.
Game 4 of the NLDS showed just how much this team respects baseball and veteran players. Yadier Molina hits a fly ball and well I will just let Jomboy take it from there.

Yeah Yadi! Bat flip that bat on a sacrifice fly off a 6-year veteran.
Those are the reasons why I'm rooting for the Nationals, the Astros, the weather preventing the Cardinals from ever playing again, MLB folding, an asteroid hitting earth, or the Yankees; in that order.
Cardinals suck! Go Nats (And always go Cubs even if they aren't in the postseason)!
